The article "Advances on Medical Technology: The Flip Side" by Jan Potts, discusses the consequences and benefits of people taking certain pharmaceutical drugs to help with certain illnesses in relation to their age or physical health. The article comments on improvements of people health conditions such as breast cancer or heart disease, with use of legalized prescription drugs, but endows on the side effects of the continuing use of these drugs that can also endanger individuals health. A prime example is the use of inserting stents to stimulate blood vessels for better blood pressure, but major side effect is 60% chance of a heart attack or stroke.

The post does what it is supposed to do and just gives the writers main idea. Good usage of the passage by including some statistics that were given in the article. As far as improving the article....maybe trying to include a little more information as to what conditions where discussed and if this also may include oc (over-the-counter)
